John Hamon Elected as the 14th Bishop of Arkansas
The Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas elected the Rev. John Harmon at a special convention held August 19th, at Trinity Cathedral in Little Rock. The election concludes the process of seeking a successor for Bishop Larry Benfield, who began his tenure in 2007 and will retire in January 2024. The Rev. John Harmon will be ordained and consecrated on January 6, 2024 in Little Rock. The Most Rev. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop, will officiate at the consecration.
Episcopal Church Women Meeting
A meeting will be held in the Parish Hall on Thursday, September 28th at 10:00 A.M. to discuss an Episcopal Church Women's (ECW) group at St. Andrew's. Coffee and iced tea will be provided.
Music Committee News - All Parish Sing Along
Everyone is invited to join us in the Nave on Sunday mornings at 9:30am for a run through of that week's hymns. We hope by giving the congregation an opportunity to have an opportunity to practice, not only will more people be encouraged to sing the hymns, but actually feel more comfortable in doing so.
Pet Blessing
The traditional date for Blessing of the Animals is held on the Sunday closest to the Feast Day of Saint Francis of Assisi on October 1st. Since that coincidently happens on a Sunday this year, we will hold a pet blessing on that date. So mark your calendars now.

Vestry Meetings
The Vestry is the elected representative body who, together with the Priest-In-Charge, provide oversight of the temporal affairs, finances and operation of the Parish. The officers on the Vestry include the Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Treasurer and Clerk. They meet monthly on the Third Sunday at 11:30 am (following the 10:00 am Service). Meetings are open to the public.

Club News
The Men's Group meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at Smoking' Joe's on 8th Street in Rogers. This fellowship/service group is instrumental in hosting our Annual St. Patrick's Day Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner, Annual Parish Picnic and organizing Parish-wide Clean-Up Days and other projects.

The Women's Group meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month. They meet in the Parish Hall from 10:00-11:00 am. The group is led by Kaye Eshleman. All women are invited to join us for sharing and fellowship. A light lunch is served following the meeting. No reservation is needed. The group will continue to meet during the summer.
